Biscuit Base

  • Melted butter, to grease
  • 190g (1 1/4 cups) self-raising flour
  • 70g (1/3 cup) firmly packed brown sugar
  • 120g butter (melted)

Caramel Filling

  • 395g sweetened comdensed milk
  • 70g (1/3 cup) firmly packed brown sugar
  • 60g butter

Chocolate and Peanut Filling

  • 150g Menz PeanutChocs
  • 300g good quality dark cooking chocolate, roughly chopped
  • 80ml (1/3 cup) thickened cream
  • 1 tsp sea salt flakes

1. Preheat oven to 180c.

2. Melt a small amount of butter and brush it onto a 13 x 30cm loaf pan before lining the base and two opposite sides with non-stick baking paper. (Leave enough paper for it to overhang the sides).

3. Make the biscuit base by combining the flour and sugar in a medium sized bowl, then ad 120g of melted butter and stir until just combined.

4. Spoon the mixture into the pan and press down firmly. Place it in the oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown.

5. While the cake is baking, make the caramel filling by combining the condensed milk, sugar and butter in a medium saucepan over low heat. Stir it constantly with a wooden spoon for 8 minutes or until the caramel thickens. Do not allow it to boil.

6 Time it so that you can pour it over the cooked biscuit base while it is still hot, then place back in the oven for 15 minutes or until the caramel begins to bubble.

7. Remove from the oven and set aside to cool for one hour.

8. Once cool, sprinkle the Menz PeanutChocs evenly over the caramel.

9. Now place the roughly chopped chocolate and thickened cream in a medium saucepan over low heat and stir it with a metal spoon for 3-4 minutes, or until the chocolate melts and the mixture is smooth.

10. Pour the chocolate mixture on top of the layer of caramel and Menz PeanutChocs and smooth the surface so it looks as good as it's going to taste.

11. Sprinkle a little flaked sea salt over the top then place in the fridge for the longest one to two house of your life while you wait for it to set.

12. You should be able to get about 16 pieces out of this. But sneak one for yourself before you serve it and tell them you could only get 15!
